Tekla drawing check: find what is missing before the workshop
Stek-Check checks a Tekla production set for missing drawings, NC and DXF files, empty lists, NC headers that do not match and placeholders in the title block. Built for fabricators who receive drawings from a detailing office, and for detailers who send sets to the workshop; you get a report you can print as PDF, and nothing is uploaded.
Runs in the browser, nothing to install.
What does Stek-Check look for?
Completeness
Per assembly, profile and plate: is there a drawing, an NC file, a DXF and optionally a STEP? Also stray and duplicate files, a combined PDF that differs from the single drawings, gaps in the numbering and unreadable PDFs.
Lists and part lists
Is everything that is used in the list, and is everything in the list used? No empty lists, and no part in a part list without its own drawing.
NC content
Is the header of every NC file readable, and do position, material, profile and order number match the file name and the list?
Title block and material
Placeholders such as XXX or a sample CE number, mixed revisions in one folder, hollow sections without an H grade, and materials that are not on your own list.

Frequently asked questions about the check
Are my drawings sent anywhere?
No. Stek-Check reads the set in your own browser and forgets it when you close the tab. Nothing goes to a server.
Does it work with exports from software other than Tekla?
Stek-Check is built on the file names and lists of a Tekla export. You set the prefixes for profiles and plates yourself; if your export differs a lot, let us know.
Can I turn a check off?
Yes. Every check is off, report or error. Report shows it without rejecting the set. Save your settings as your own profile and share them as a file.
