// THREE TOOLS FOR YOUR STEELWORK
Draw, cost and deliver.
Stek-Staal is one account with three tools for structural steel: draw and export plates, cost a complete job through to a quote, and deliver profiles as an NC file. All in the browser, to the millimetre — no CAD package needed.
The tools
- Stek-Plaat →
Draw a plate with holes and bolt patterns, export DXF, PDF, NC1 and STEP.
- Stek-Calc →
Cost a complete steelwork job — material, machining, assembly — through to a quote PDF.
- Stek-Profielcoming soon
Draw columns and beams and deliver them as DSTV NC1.

Three tools, one account
You do not have to use all three. If you only have plates cut, Stek-Plaat is enough; if you also quote, add Stek-Calc.
Stek-Calc
Cost a complete steelwork job — material, machining, assembly — through to a quote PDF.

Built for the workshop
Not a general CAD package with a steel module bolted on, but tools that only do what structural steel needs — which is why they need little explaining.
No CAD licence needed
Everything runs in the browser. No install, no version management, no per-seat licences. Log in and start.
One account, one invoice
The tools share your company details, your logo and your users. What you draw in one, you cost in the other.
To the millimetre
Exact outlines, hole spacing and bolt patterns. What you draw is what gets cut.
Your own rates
Stek-Calc works with your purchase prices and hourly rates, not with numbers we made up. And it tells you while you are still on the example rates.
Netherlands & Belgium
Made for steel fabricators and engineers in the Netherlands and Flanders.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly is Stek-Staal?
Stek-Staal is the name of the whole: one account with three tools for structural steel. Stek-Plaat to draw and export plates, Stek-Calc to cost steelwork through to a quote, and Stek-Profiel for columns and beams. Questions about one tool live on that tool's page.
Do I need all three tools?
No. Stek-Plaat is included in every plan. Stek-Calc and Stek-Profiel belong to Workshop Pro and Business, and on Workshop you can add Stek-Calc to your subscription.
Do I need AutoCAD or another drawing package?
No. Everything runs in the browser and you need no CAD licence or drawing experience.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Drawing is free and unlimited, and you get one free trial export per account.
Do the tools work together?
Yes. Plates from a Stek-Plaat project come into Stek-Calc as lines, and your company details and logo are set once for both.
